When I walked into ITC Chola to be part of the launch of Asia’s largest 𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 4 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 by CtrlS Datacenters, the messaging was bold and beautiful, “𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐚𝐢 𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥” (CTC). Oh yeah CTC is Good 😊
While we have been seeing a lot of news about how Mumbai and Chennai lead the data center space in the country, it was fascinating to see such a tech marvel come up right in front of us. Two towers of a million sqft, with a combined capacity of 72MW, generating employment for 500 directly and another 9000 indirectly. At 92 m, this is the world’s tallest data center currently.
The state of the art facility located in the Ambattur Industrial Estate was inaugurated by the Honourable Chief Minister of Tamilnadu Thiru M K Stalin. Industries Minister Thiru TRB Rajaa was present on the occasion.
